In his book Contemporary Studio Porcelain (second edition) - A&C Black London and University of Pennsylvania Press, Pennsylvania, Peter Lane writes:

“Acutely aware of the fragility of the environment, through her work Andrea reflects her concerns for its protection using finely balanced forms that are attuned to nature".

In his introduction to the catalogue for Andrea’s Fragility and extinction exhibition Peter Lane writes:

"Those composite forms were meticulously conceived and brilliantly executed. Their originality remains unquestioned and totally lacking in any kind of self-consciousness often evident in so many contemporary pieces where the pressures to claim attention have overridden sensibilities".
